Research Description
My PhD is looking at the ecological and functional consequences of fire in heathlands connecting, for the first time, the changes in the plant community with increased fire frequency with soil processes. I am particularly interested in the relationship and coevolution of Ericoid mycorrhizal fungi and Ericaceous shrubs.
