Research Description
Adapting grassland and agroecosystems to multiple concomitant biotic and abiotic stressors, with a special focus on sub-Saharan Africa. My research examines the role of belowground traits-root and rhizosphere strategies- particularly the plant 'outsourcing' nutrient acquisition strategy through mycorrhizal partners.
