My research focuses on fungal diversity in soil microbiomes of treeline species in the Greater Himalayan region of Kashmir, emphasizing mycorrhizal fungi's role. I am trying to investigate how these fungi influence plant survival, growth, and establishment, assessing their functional significance in shaping ecosystem dynamics under changing environmental conditions.
