Research Description

My research revolves around the ecology of plant and soil microbial interactions and their effects on ecosystem services. I am particularly intrigued by the biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities, their effect on soil aggregation and how this knowledge can be applied to the field of restoration and conservation ecology. Rhizosphere microbiome assembly from invasive, domesticated and will congener plants. Science diplomacy, science policy analyst and STEM advocator.
