Research Description
My research focuses on microbial diversity and the ecological drivers shaping microbial communities. My PhD investigates the diversity and host specificity of leaf-associated fungi in Europe using high-throughput sequencing and metabarcoding approaches. I also work on fungal taxonomy, phylogeny, and the discovery and description of new fungal species.
