Research Description
My research explores gasteroid fungi in northern Pakistan’s ecoregions, combining ecological surveys with molecular identification to uncover novel taxa and clarify phylogenetic roles. Findings strengthen local conservation strategies, raise awareness, and contribute globally through GenBank, MycoBank, Index Fungorum, and SPUN’s mission of mapping fungal networks within biodiversity frameworks.
