Research Description
I study mycorrhizal fungi and their influence on tree health, chemical defenses, and disease resistance in forest ecosystems. I'm also interested in how colonization by ectomycorrhizal fungi may influence tree semiochemicals and attraction to bark beetles, and how bark beetle attack can drive long-term changes in below ground fungal communities.
