Research Description
My research focuses on fungal diversity and taxonomy, particularly macrofungi from Pakistan’s forests, combining morphoanatomical studies with DNA barcoding and phylogenetic analysis to identify species, including novel taxa, and to understand their ecological roles, supporting biodiversity conservation and sustainable utilization.
