Research Description
I study the diversity of macrofungi in the Neotropics with a community-based approach, using mycotourism as a tool for awareness and empowerment for local communities and promote conservation of the mushrooms associated with different kinds of forest. I am also a fungal taxonomist with an emphasis on Ascomycetes.
