Research Description
My research focuses on the origin of fungal diversity. Specifically, I investigate genome architecture variation between and within closely related species in understudied mushrooms. My goal is to combine genomics, taxonomy, and collection-based research to advance our understanding of fungal diversity and ultimately, create fundamental knowledge to ensure its conservation.
