Research Description
Fascinated by fungi since childhood, I’m a mycologist at the University of Vienna. I teach fungi, algae, mosses, and ferns to students. My research barcodes Austrian dung and soil fungi, contributes to IUCN Fungal Red List, bridges science and policy, and, with the Austrian Mycological Society, runs mapping and citizen‑science projects.
