Research Description
My research explores ectomycorrhizal fungal diversity in Pakistan’s Himalayan temperate forests using metagenomics and next-generation sequencing (NGS). By integrating high-throughput sequencing with phylogenetic (ITS, LSU markers) and ecological analyses, I aim to uncover fungal community structures, their ecological roles, and applications in conservation and sustainable forest management.
