In my postdoctoral work, I use molecular, microscopic, genetic, and bioinformatic approaches to investigate:
(a) the evolution of endomycorrhizal interactions among early divergent fungi (Mucoromycota), focussing on Mucoromycotina 'Fine Root Endophytes', and
(b) the molecular mechanisms that contribute to the compartmentalisation of fungal colonisation in distinct host tissues.
