Research Description
My research employs high-throughput sequencing to study fungal biogeography in natural and agroecosystems. I have explored the arbuscular mycorrhizal diversity in roots and soils of indigenous legumes in semi-arid South Africa. Currently, I am examining Fusarium community ecology and biodiversity in the South African grassland biome.
