Research Description
I study the factors shaping diversity and composition of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in natural and restored tropical forests. I am also interested in carbon allocation by woody plants to arbuscular and ectomycorrhizal fungi, how mycorrhizal types influence soil nutrient cycling, and the prevalence of dual mycorrhizal colonization in woody species.
