Research Description
My research reveals the hidden partnerships between plants and fungi in tropical ecosystems. I study orchid, arbuscular, and ectomycorrhizal associations in tropical biomes using microscopy, DNA sequencing in roots and soils, gene capture from historical herbarium specimens, and carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes.
