Research Description
My work tends to understand fungal ecological patterns within natural forest ecosystems using molecular and community-level approaches, mainly through the microscopic (i.e. microfungi) prisms of fungal diversity. I specialize in overlooked fungal communities in understudied habitats, with a main perspective on fungal conservation and ecosystem-based forest management.
