Research Description
I study mycorrhizal fungi in unexplored Philippine forests using conventional and high-throughput sequencing. I also investigate fungal endophytes of native and endemic plants for agricultural applications, and examine cryptogamic fungal-like protists such as myxomycetes to understand their biogeographic distribution and ecological roles.
