Research Description
I am a postdoctoral researcher in ecology focused on ecophysiology, behaviour, metabolism and energy use across organisms. I study how aquatic organisms respond to environmental stressors through energy trade-offs and foraging strategies. In STIGE Climaquiferi at CNR IRET (Lecce), I investigate subterranean stygofauna and explore fungal energy dynamics in underground ecosystems.
