Research Description
With my group, I study how mycorrhizal fungi function in their natural habitat, how environmental change impacts on their function and how this ultimately leads to evolution. Our work includes detailed studies on genetic adaptation towards heavy metals and explorative studies on radiation induced changes following the Fukushima nuclear accident.
