Research Description
As an academic and environmental microbiologist, I focus on the ecological functions and applications of microbial communities—especially fungi and bacteria—in critical ecosystems such as degraded lands, volcanic soils, mangroves, and post-mining areas. My research integrates molecular tools (e.g., metagenomics, and trait-based analysis) to explore the role of microbes in ecosystem stability, sustainability, and bioremediation.
