Research Description
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Plant Science at McGill University, where I study the effects of cover crop species and herbicide treatments on crop production, weed suppression, and soil microbial communities. My research combines field-based agronomic trials with molecular and ecological approaches to evaluate how diverse cover cropping strategies influence the sustainability and resilience of corn-based cropping systems in Quebec. By integrating plant science, soil microbiology, and data-driven analysis, my work aims to develop practical solutions that enhance agricultural productivity while promoting environmental health.
